ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police have arrested 13 outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered one car, 83 wine bottles, hashish, weapons and looted items from their possession, a police spokesman said on Saturday.
According to details, ASI Ghulam Rasool from Loi Bher police station arrested a thief Zohaib besides recovering stolen items worth Rs. 1,60,000 from him while ASI Asif Riaz recovered three wine bottles from Amjad during patrolling.
ASI Shahid and Bashir Ahmed from Koral police station arrested four thieves Zulfiqar, Murad Rasheed, Sajjad, Qamar Rasheed and recovered stolen items from them. Koral police also arrested two youngsters Masood Hassan and Hassan Raza for involvement in one-wheeling and putting their as well as others' lives at risk.
Sub-Inspector Muhammad Haneef from Shehzad town police station nabbed Anjum Mehmud for having 300 gram hashish while ASI Imtiaz Hussain from Industrial area police station recovered 30 bore pistol from accused Zar Muhammad.
On a tip off, Sub-Inspector Muhammad Nawaz recovered 80 wine bottles from a bootlegger Sunny Masih. ASI Nasir Manzoor from Aabpara police station arrested two dacoits Shehbaz, Mumtaz and recovered snatched cash and mobile phones from them.
ASI Muhammad Siddique from Kohsar police station recovered Suzuki Mehran car (QB-9036) from Shafqat Ullah which was found stolen from the jurisdiction of Data Darbar police station.
Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them.
