Drive against unauthorized CNG kits

LAHORE: The National Highways and Motorway Police N-5 Central
have launched a special campaign against unauthorized CNG Kits fitted in vehicles.

Zonal Commander N-5 Central Rai Altaf Hussain directed officers to allow vehicles having certified CNG kits to move on highways. He directed that a trend of fitting CNG cylinders on roof tops of vehicles should be discouraged.

Similarly, officers of N-5 Central Zone have been directed to strongly discourage improper loading of tractor-trollys with sugarcane.

All SSPs have been directed to personally monitor the campaigns to make them a success. Mobile Education Unit of Central Zone has also been directed to visit different transport terminals to brief them about the drives.
