ISLAMABAD: The inaugural ceremony of paintings exhibition of National College of Arts (NCA) graduates titled `Mind Maps' was held here on Wednesday.
The exhibition was comprised of select works of eleven artists arranged at Pakistan National Council of the Arts at National Art Gallery (NAG).
The display works were done by the fourth batch of graduates of NCA (Rawalpindi Campus), which were reflective of their experiences in life, notes from their personal diary and the situations they remained part of, usual or unusual.
In addition to this, these display were part of their thesis show presenting multiple themes and concerns from personal ethos to socio political issues. These were explored in variety of medium, contemporary idiom, techniques and expression.
Secretary, Ministry of National Heritage & Integration Asaf Ghafoor speaking at the ceremony said, Pakistani youth has the potential to cope with the challenges in any field and it is proved by the academic record at international level of our young generation. (APP)
