CENTURION: South Africa won the toss and elected to bat first in the third test against Pakistan at Centurion as it looked to complete a series whitewash.
South Africa has been forced to make a few changes. Allrounder Jacques Kallis has been ruled out after picking up an injury on the eve of the match, and has been replaced by debutant fast bowler Kyle Abbott. Rory Klienveldt comes in for the injured Morne Morkel.
Pakistan has also made a few changes. Some inevitable and others to try out something new, in search of a morale boosting win.Seamer Umar Gul is unavailable due to an illness and is replaced by Ehsan Adil who will be making his test debut. Nasir Jamshed and Tanveer Ahmed have been left out and in come Imran Farhat and Rahat Ali in their place.
The Proteas already hold an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series after a 211-run victory in the first test at the Wanderers and a four-wicket win in Cape Town in the 2nd. (AP)
