ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police have arrested five outlaws, seven absconders and eight suspects from various areas of the city and recovered stolen cash, mobile phones and 1.50 kilogram hashish from their possession, a police spokesman said on Monday.

According to details, Golra Police arrested drug pusher Habib-ur-Rehman during routine patrolling and recovered 1.50 kilogram hashish from him. Tarnol police station arrested Khalid Mehmood for keeping 133 gram heroin.

Industrial area police nabbed Shafique and recovered four bottles of wine from him while CIA Police arrested Inyat -ur- Rehman and Atta Ullah for their alleged involvement in street crime besides recovering snatched mobile phones and cash from them.

Cases have been registered against them and further investigation was underway.

Meanwhile, Crime Investigation Agency of Islamabad police arrested four absconders wanted by police for their involvement in crime cases of heinous nature. Likewise, Bhara Khau police nabbed two proclaimed offenders and Secretariat Police arrested a proclaimed offender.

Bhara Kau and Sabzi Mandi police also arrested eight suspects during search operation in their respective areas. (APP)
