KARACHI: A mild-to-moderate earthquake struck the coastal areas of the Sindh province here on Thursday evening, Geo News reported.
According to Meteorology Department, jolts of magnitude 4.7 on the Richter scale, were felt in Thatha, Golarchi, Badin, Jati, and surrounding areas.
The quake was epicentered about 172 kilometers from Karachi.
No damage to property or life was reported in the wake of quake.
A meteorologist said that at present no warning had been issued as such tremors were not of much concern.
