Orangi Pilot Project director Parveen Rehman shot dead

KARACHI: Director, Orangi Town Pilot Project Parveen Rehman was gunned down by unknown armed men in a targeted attack here on Wednesday, police sources said.

According to the DIG Police, Parveen Rehman's assassination was a result of a targeted attack.

According to reports, the attackers opened fire on her vehicle near Pirabad Police Station.

Police confirmed that the women killed in the armed attack was identified as Parveen Rehman. Her body was shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities.

Geo News correspondent said that she was traveling in her car when gunmen targeted her near the Banaras flyover.

Parveen Rehman had been rendering her services as a social worker for the past 25 years.
