KARACHI: Chief Minister Sindh Qaim Ali Shah has sent the advice to dissolve the provincial assembly to Governor Dr Ishrat ul Ebad.

Earlier a consensus was reached between the Sindh government and opposition to appoint Justice (retd) Qurban Alvi as the caretaker chief minister of the province.

On Tuesday, the Governor House of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa received the advice of dissolving the provincial assembly sent by Chief Minister Amir Haider Khan Hoti. Justice (retd) Tariq Pervez will take oath as caretaker chief minister on Wednesday at 5pm.

The Balochistan Assembly was dissolved on Monday.
