Public urged to adopt caution during rain

PESHAWAR: PESCO authorities here Sunday requested all its consumers to adopt precautionary measures for avoiding mishaps including electrocution during current spell of rain.

It was advised to properly earth electrical appliances and wrap worn out electrical wires with insulation besides avoiding using electrical appliances and contacting cables with wet hands.

Public is also requested to be careful and attentive while using electric water pumps while females were asked to avoid usage of metal wires for drying clothes.

PESCO authorities appealed to ensure proper adaptation of precautionary measures and inform the concerned PESCO regarding presence of a damage pole and bare power cable in their respective areas. (APP)
