Blast in Peshawar injures two

PESHAWAR: Two people sustained wounds after a blast near a family park in Hasht Nagri area here Wednesday night, Geo News reported.

According to sources, the blast occurred outside a shop that deals in firearms.

Two people were injured after they were hit by broken pieces of glass as a result of the blast, said the police. They were rushed to a nearby hospital by rescue teams that arrived at the blast site soon after the attack.

Police has cordoned off the area for evidence collection and forensic activities.
