B-2 bombers on S Korea training mission: US military

SEOUL: Two nuclear-capable B-2 stealth bombers were on Thursday sent to South Korea to take part in a joint military exercise, US forces based in the South said.

"US Strategic Command sent two B-2 Spirit bombers for a long-duration, round-trip training mission from Whiteman Air Force Base" in Missouri to South Korea on Thursday as part of the ongoing US-South Korea annual joint military exercise, Foal Eagle," a statement said.
