Several killed in mortar attack on Damascus University: TV

BEIRUT: A mortar attack on Damascus University killed and wounded several people on Thursday, Syrian state television reported, blaming rebels.

"Terrorists fire mortar rounds on the faculty of architecture in Damascus, and according to initial reports several people have been killed or wounded," the broadcaster said, using the regime term for rebels fighting against the regime of President Bashar al-Assad. (AFP)
