MUZAFFARGARH/BAHAWALPUR: Former parliamentarians Jamshed Dasti and Amir Yar Waran had been charged in the fake degree cases against them.

The District and Session Court of Judge Abdul Rehman Khan Niazi indicted Jamshed Dasti on the request of regional election commissioner of Multan.
The petitioner was of the view that the accused contested in 2008 elections on a fake degree and he should be tried on the charges of forgery.

In Bahawalpur, the court of Additional Judge Hamid Hussain Shah heard the fake degree case sent by the Election Commission of Pakistan. During proceedings former PPP MNA Amir Yar Waran was indicted and the hearing was adjourned till April 2.
