Rangers nab over 20 suspects in Karachi raids

KARACHI: Rangers on Tuesday rounded up more than 20 suspects in the ongoing crack down on criminal elements in the provincial capital.

The suspects were taken into custody during raids carried out in Korangi and Qasba areas of the city.

The Rangers also broke the barriers erected in various parts of Qasba colony and also seized weapons.

Earlier, the police arrested an accused in an exchange of fire following an attack by miscreants on a police check post in Lasbella. The police also arrested eight suspects during a search operation conducted in Soldier Bazar and Patel Para areas.
