Ariana Grande is still garnering praises for her extraordinary performance in the 2024 film, Wicked.
The Weeknd ha joined the list of people swooning over the 7 Rings hitmaker who portrayed the character of Glinda, the future of Good Witch of the North in the musical, the first of a two-part adaptation of the hit stage musical.
In an Instagram Story uploaded by the Starboy singer, who has also collaborated with Grande in the past, sharing a picture of the Thank U, Next crooner with Cynthia Erivo, he wrote, “This was fantastic congrats arianagrande. So proud.”
The Weeknd and Grande previously sang together on tracks like 2014’s My Everything track, Love Me Harder and 2020 album, Positions’ song Off The Table, as well as the remix of The Weeknd’s Save Your Tears that came out in 2021.
Additionally, before The Weeknd, Camila Cabello was also one of those singers who was head over heels for Grande’s performance in the film, Wicked.
“You were brilliant Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo,” she had written in an Instagram story, adding, “Can’t stop listening and singing.”
