Karachi: SHO Preedy Police Station gunned down

KARACHI: Unidentified armed men Tuesday night ambushed a stationhouse officer (SHO), who succumbed to his wounds on the way to hospital here in downtown Karachi, Geo News reported.

According to details, SHO Preedy Police Station, Agha Asad, came under attack in Saddar Town.

According to sources unknown gunmen opened fire on his car as he reached the spot near Murshid Bazaar where the attackers were lying in wait to kill him.

Asad was shifted to a Civil Hospital but his injuries proved fatal.

Police have opened investigation into the murder.
