Willem Dafoe hints at 'Spider Man 4' return?

Willem Dafoe just hinted at his return to Spider-Man.

The 69-year-old, who played the role of the renowned villain, Norman Osborn/Green Goblin, in 2002, before his comeback in Spider-Man: No Way Home in 2021, suggested he might be reprising his role in the upcoming Spider-Man 4.

As per ComicBookMovie.com, speaking of his return, he mentioned, "We'll see. We'll see. I could come back.

Dafoe continued, "Listen, Tom (Holland) was great to work with and the whole series of Spider-Man films that I did were great fun. Great fun."

The Nosferatu star has also previously hinted at him reprising the role of Green Goblin, by telling Inverse, "If everything was right, sure. I mean, that's a great role. I liked the fact that it's a double role both times.”

"Twenty years ago, and fairly recently, both times [were] very different experiences, but I had a good time on both,” he mentioned.

Willem Dafoe also recalled being rather “shocked” when he was offered to return to the super-hero franchise for the 2021 film, Spider-Man: No Way Home.

"It's always a little difficult when you die in a movie to come back in any sequels,” he mentioned, adding, "I thought I was finished. When they initially said, 'Would you like to reprise this role?' I thought, 'Really? How does that happen?' I was kind of stupid about it."
