Police personnel gunned down

QUETTA: A police personnel was gunned down by unknown armed assailants here at Seriab Road on Friday.

According to police, unidentified gunmen riding a motorbike opened fire on him near Chaki Shahwani area when he was on way to somewhere. As a result, he received multiple bullet wounds and died on the spot.

The body was shifted to civil hospital where the deceased was identified as Habibullah.

Later, his body was handed over to the heirs after legal formalities. Police were looking into the matter.
