PESHAWAR: The Election Tribunal has dismissed the appeal against JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman's nomination papers for NA-27 (Lakki Marwat).

The appeal against Rehman’s nomination papers was filed by a voter Inamullah.

In Lahore an Election Tribunal dismissed all appeals against Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif and cleared them to contest elections from NA-120 and PP-161 respectively.

Meanwhile, the Election Tribunal in Karachi rejected nomination papers of former President General (retd) Pervez Musharraf for NA-250.

The Election Tribunal in Rawalpindi reserved its decision on an appeal filed against the nomination papers of former Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf.
