TEHRAN: A 7.5-magnitude earthquake hit southeastern Iran on Tuesday, the country's Seismological Centre reported on its website.

The epicentre of the quake, which struck at a depth of 18 kilometers (11 miles), was located about 81 kilometres north of Saravan in the southeastern province of Sistan Baluchistan, it said. (AFP)
