ISLAMABAD: Islamabad police have arrested ten outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered stolen car, gold ornaments, cash, 13 wine bottles and narcotics from their possession, a police spokesman said on Tuesday.

According to details, Sub-Inspector Nusrat Ali from Golra police station arrested an accused Junaid for having 30 bore pistol. Sub-Inspectors Aness Akbar and Muhammad Ashraf from Shehzad Town police arrested Tanveer and Qamer Zaman besides recovering 12 bore gun and 30 bore pistol from them.

ASI Tanveer Ahmed from Kohsar police station arrested Sajid Sohail and recovered 10 bottles wine from him. Sub-Inspector Ghulam Muhamamd Shah and ASI Muhammad Ghaus from Bhara Kau police station arrested Irfan and Gul Shah for having 220 gram hashish and 03 wine bottles respectively.

ASI Tarbul Hassan from Gorla police station arrested a thief Yousaf Khan while ASI Qamer Ejaz from Sabzi Mandi police station recovered a stolen car (A- 1272 Hyderabad) from Manzoor.

ASIs Saeed Akhtar and Muhammad Shafi nabbed Tahseen, Adnan, Adil Shehzad and recovered gold ornaments, cash, two 30 bore pistols from them.

Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them. Inspector General of police Bani Amin Khan and SSP Islamabad Yaseen Farooq have further directed all heads of police stations to ensure arrest of anti-social elements and report to him on daily basis in this regard.
