4,500 cartons of foreign cigarettes seized

LAHORE: New Anarkali and Mochi Gate police arrested five accused involved in business of foreign cigarettes and recovered 4,500 cartoons from their shops and godowns.

The SP City received information that the accused were purchasing cigarettes of foreign companies in the market. To which, he constituted a special police team which conducted raids on their godowns and arrested the accused and recovered cartons worth Rs 15 million.

The accused were identified as Bashir Ahmad, Sajid Khan, Mohsan Nawaz, Bagh Ali and Shaukat Ali.
