The Weeknd reaches new heights with 'Trilogy'

The Weeknd just accomplished a milestone with his album, Triology.

The 34-year-old Canadian singer took to Instagram and shared a post which stated, “’Triology’ is now The Weeknd’s highest charting album on IS Apple Music currently.”

According to the Blinding Lights hitmaker’s story, his album is now the highest charting album on US.

On the work front, The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, is set to deliver his final album Hurry Up Tomorrow which will be released on January 24, 2025.

It’s the final track of a trilogy that kicked off with After Hours (2020) and continued with Dawn FM (2022).

Apart from releasing his new sixth studio album, the Gasoline crooner will also star in a movie with the same name as his album which also stars Jenna Ortega and Barry Keoghan.

The film has been described as a "musically driven psychological thriller" and serves as a creative extension of The Weeknd’s latest artistic endeavors.

Directed by Trey Edward Shults, the Starboy singer starrer film will be released on May 16, 2025.
