Royal experts take aim at With Love, Meghan given its encroaching release date while LA reels against wild fires.
Royal commentator Phil Dampier made these observations, and according to a report by The Daily Mail, said, “the timing of Meghan's Netflix show could hardly be worse as hundreds of people have lost their homes in the terrible fires” that are currently overtaking homes.
With this on the news he feels that, “The last thing anyone is interested in is a programme about having friends round to eat canapés or arrange flowers when the city is going up in flames and people have lost everything.”
Mr Dampier also made note to highlight the work the Sussexes are doing for the effected community and said, “Harry and Meghan did the right thing by saying they would help friends and put them up in their own home, but the trouble is that they can't really win,” however chances are still that “some will say they are just doing it as a PR move.”
Hence, “I think it would be sensible for Netflix to pull the show and bring it back in the summer when things are a bit better but the devastation is so bad that it will take years if nor decades to rebuild some of the communities,” he noted before signing off.
