Meghan Markle has decided to delay her upcoming Netflix series on account of the Californian wildfires.
The Duchess of Sussex, who was set to launch her A-lister cooking show on the streaming giant, wants to focus on her philanthropic endeavours amid the natural disasters in California.
“I’m thankful to my partners at Netflix for supporting me in delaying the launch, as we focus on the needs of those impacted by the wildfires in my home state of California,” Meghan said in a statement on Sunday, Jan. 12.
Meghan’s show titled ‘With Love, Meghan,’ has thus been moved from Jan. 15 premiere date to March 4.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have also donated toys for all those who have lost their homes in the wildfires.
Lauding the couple over their immense efforts for the humanitarian cause, netizens comment on X: "We COULDN'T expect LESS from Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry."
A second one said: "That is the WAY, they have ALWAYS BEEN. Assisting and Giving HELPING HANDS for those Victims of such as Fire Tragedy and other DISASTERS around the WORLD."
