Chrissy Teigen shows gratitude after evacuating due to LA fires

Chrissy Teigen, an American model, revealed that she has returned home after previously evacuating with her family due to the L.A. fires.

Their return was marked by the second birthday celebration of their daughter Esti, shots of which Chrissy shared to her Instagram in a now-expired story.

“I'm feeling grateful to be back home. This is all I could muster up for Esti’s birthday,” she wrote, according to People.

Along with Esti, the model shares 8 year old Luna Simone, 6 year old Miles Theodore as well as 18th month old Wren Alexander with her husband, musician John Legend.

The pictures displayed a birthday cake with two figures of John Cena placed on top, as the wrestler happens to be Esti’s favorite.

The family had to leave their home behind on 8 January, during which Chrissy shared a snap to show their distress, “This is surreal I’m very scared now. Packing.”

“4 dogs, 4 kids and a bearded dragon walk into a hotel,” she added.

Although Chrissy Teigen and John Legend’s home is safe and sound, several other celebrities have tragically lost their homes to the fires spreading across California.
