Jessica Alba and Cash Waren had tried all possible ways to save their 17-year marriage.
As Alba and Warren are all set to end their marriage, a source told DailyMail that the couple had been struggling "romantically for over a year".
Following almost a week of split speculations, Alba confirmed the news by taking it to her social media on Thursday.
"Things have been pretty bad with them romantically for over a year," the insider told the outlet.
"They are so devoted to their kids and their careers but they weren't growing their relationship. They're just friends," the tipster noted.
"When they started out, they thought they were going to be working on and producing movies and TV shows together," the tatter said, adding, "But once their businesses took off and they had kids, their priorities changed and in turn their feelings did too."
TMZ was the first to report the separation news of the pair.
The couple first met at the set of Fantastic Four and tied the knot four years later in 2008.
Alba and Warren share daughters Honor, 16, and Haven, 13, as well as son Hayes, 7.
