JAIPUR: Rajasthan Royals defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by four wickets in a tough contest here at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium on Monday.
Chasing 172, Rajasthan reached the target off the penultimate ball of the match losing six wickets.

Though Shane Watson gave an allround performance taking three wickets and then hitting a 31-ball 41 besides an 18-ball 32 from Brad Hodge it was Kerala's 18-year-old Sanju Samson who scored 63 off 41 with seven fours and two sixes.

Bangalore, who have now lost all their four away matches, made 171 for six in the allotted 20 overs after being sent into bat.

Their prominent scorers were opener Chris Gayle (34) and captain Virat Kohli (32).
