ISLAMABAD: Chief Commissioner, Islamabad, Jawad Paul said that holding of free, fair and impartial elections in Capital is the top priority of Islamabad Capital Territory Administration and the whole administration is impartial in this regard.

During an introductory meeting with the officials of the administration, he said that administration is determined to meet challenges and he will hold separate meetings with the police and other stakeholders to review the security arrangements for providing helpful environment for free and fair elections in a smooth manner very shortly.

The meeting was attended among others by the Deputy Commissioner, Islamabad, Amer Ali Ahmed, Assistant Commissioners, Magistrates and head of the attached departments.

Jawad Paul also directed the officials to ensure effective and efficient public delivery system and resolve the problems of the peoples with devotion and dedication. He said that all the officials need to work as a team to serve the people.

He said that his doors are open for everyone and the officials should also feel free to let him know about any problem they are confronting during their duties. "If any official has innovative ideas to further improve the working of the administration, they should come forward and share it with me," he added.

He said that he would have separate briefings about the working of their departments shortly. (APP)
