Scarlett Johnson has started to share some insights to her 10-year-old daughter about dating.
During a conversation on the January 21st episode of Today with Jenna and Friends,the Avenger actress revealed that she has taught her daughter Rose a lesson on "ghosting."
The Black Widow star noted that the conversation happened when she learned about her daughter that she ghosted a boy who liked her.
"I just had this conversation with my 10-year-old daughter about ghosting because there was this little boy that liked her, and then she wasn't feeling the same," the 40-year-old actress began. "She just stopped talking to him straight up and he felt terrible. And I was telling her, I introduced the ghosting concept."
while confessing that she herself has ghosted people before as she hates "confrontation", she added, "It really makes the other person feel terrible about themselves. It kind of sets them on this spiral."
Moreover, Johansson admitted that she would prefer to be dumped over ghosting as it's an "awful" act to leave a person without any closure.
"Honestly being ghosted is awful because you're just left with no answers at all and you're thinking, 'Oh my god, did I do something?' " she noted. "It haunts you for years."
It is pertinent to mention that Johansson shares Rose, 10, with her ex-husband Romain Dauriac and a son Cosmo, 3, with her current husband Colin Jost.
