DALLAS: Pakistani American's activities related to Pakistani elections are at its peak where a lot of discussion on electoral process is going on in the community.

Pakistani community members are highly interested in the political news, views and election assessments. Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf (PTI) and other Pakistani organizations are hosting special election watch parties.

PTI is looking very active in Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex. PTI leadership including Dr Nasrullah, Nayyara Syed, Dr Tariq Muhammad, Dr Jalil Khan have contributed a large sum on election funds for PTI in Pakistan and where others also have collected money for PTI election activities.

PTI Dallas also hosting an election watch party in Dallas. However, Pakistani American's representative group, Pakistan American Association of Texas (PAAT) is also hosting a special election watch party in which all political parties are invited to participate at Texas King Restaurant in Plano Texas.

The watch party is likely to be attended by party workers and officials of PTI, Pakistan People's Party (PPP), Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and All Pakistan Muslim League (APML).

PAAT's official spokesman Syed Fayyaz Hassan said that all Pakistani political parties are invited to participate in this election watch party. This event will signify a united community support for the democratic process and election process in Pakistan.

The watch Party will run from noon to midnight where people will express their thoughts. The purpose of election watch parties is to witness any expected changes resulting from election as a number of people are interested in seeing change from election results.

A large number of community members specially PTI workers are wishing for a change in Pakistan from this election and have pinned their hopes from this election.
