Election Tribunal to decide on fingerprint verification: ECP Secretary

ISLAMABAD: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) Secretary, Ishtiaque Ahmed said Wednesday that the decision on fingerprint verification in connection with charges of rigging would be made by the election tribunal.

Ahmed added that NADRA would conduct fingerprint verification when the need arose, adding that the record was accumulated for this reason.

Earlier, in a recorded address, PTI chairman Imran Khan called for recounting of votes coupled with fingerprint verification by NADRA in four constituencies. He, however, did not identify the constituencies.
