Security plan finalized for NA-250 re-polling

KARACHI: A security plan has been finalized for the re-polling at 43 polling stations of National Assembly constituency NA-250, Geo News reported.

According to details, the polling would be conducted at the 38 polling stations of south zone and 5 of east zone, while 22 police, 8 to 10 rangers' personnel and 6 to 8 military troops would be deployed at every polling station.

As many as 3500 security personnel would be deployed at 43 polling stations of NA-250.

Almost 275 police personnel and 100 of rangers and army men would be deployed to east zone, while 2300 cops and 800 army and ranger men would be seen at south zone.

The six Superintendents of Police (SP) would monitor the security arrangements directly and deployment of security forces will begin tomorrow.

Apart from all mentioned security measures, the stand-by quick response of rangers and army could be called in if needed.
