PESHAWAR: Three persons were killed and two others injured when a blast targeted a vehicle at a seminary at Bajgi Road in Peshawar Friday, Geo News reported.
According to sources, a blast occurred outside a seminary at Bajgi Road that killed three persons and injured two others.
Witnesses said that a car was targeted in the blast that was rushing out of the seminary and the blast occurred at its gate. It is not yet clear that whether it was a suicide blast or an improvised explosive device went off.
The blast was so powerful that it was heard in far off areas as well. The car was completely destroyed as a result of explosion.
Police and rescue teams reached the site and kicked off rescue efforts. The injured and bodies were shifted to Lady Reading Hospital while security forces cordoned off the area and started investigation.
