KARACHI: Profit-taking in some large-capitalization stocks knocked more points out of Karachi Stock Exchange's (KSE) benchmark index.

The KSE-100 Index closed 0.28 percent, or 58.88 points, lower at 21,283.77.

Pakistan Petroleum Ltd fell 1.11 percent to Rs215.30, while Pakistan State Oil Co Ltd was down 1.66 percent at Rs276.10.
