NEW DELHI: Pakistan Rangers and Indian Border Security Force officials have agreed to a ceasefire at the Working Boundary during their meeting held here on Saturday.

An agreement was also reached on joint investigation of future ceasefire violations at the Working Boundary.

The Pakistan Rangers spokesman added that India’s DG BSF has assured that in the future such incidents will not take place.

The issue of Rangers personnel martyrdom was raised during the flag meeting, a spokesman for the paramilitary force said.

The BSF will also share details of smugglers with Pakistan Rangers, said the spokesman.
