Al-Qaeda groups involved in Karachi target killings: report

KARACHI: According to a report prepared by the security agencies three al-Qaeda groups are involved in carrying out targeted killings in Karachi.

The report revealed that these groups have divided the city in several parts and each group operates within the specified precinct.

One of these groups carries out its criminal activities in district east and Saddar area. The second group operates in district west while the third one functions in Korangi town.

The report further disclosed that these groups carry out their activities after every four to five days.
