PML-N likely to finalize federal cabinet today

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is likely to finalize the federal cabinet comprising 18 to 20 members today, sources said.

According to the sources, the PML-N has decided to make Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan the Interior Minister, while Abdul Malik Baloch of National Party is expected to be nominated for the chief minister office of Balochistan.

Senator Ishaq Dar is likely to be given a portfolio of finance ministry. Ministry of water and power and that of Petroleum would be merged into one and its portfolio would be given to Khwaja Asif, the sources said.

Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has already prepared a framework of interior ministry affairs, the sources added.
