British Council directs students to retake Islamiat, Pak studies exams after security breach

KARACHI: The British Council is investigating a breach in the exam papers of Cambridge O’level and Cambridge IGCSE Pakistan Studies and Islamiat in Pakistan.

According to the British Council, students would be required to take new examinations of these subjects in order to ensure the continuing integrity of these exams.

Initial investigation has revealed that the situation was not initiated in Pakistan and the British Council was not party to this compromise in any way.
