Lahore: Shop gutted in busy market

LAHORE: Shoes and other valuables worth thousands of rupees were reduced to ashes when a fire broke out in a shoes shop at New Amarlali here on Thursday.

Five rescue vehicles with rescuers reached on the spot and controlled the fire after hectic efforts, said Rescue 1122 spokesman on Thursday.

However, no loss of life was reported while the cause of the fire was stated to be a short circuit. (APP)
