ISLAMABAD: Sadder Zone Police has arrested 29 outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered cash, wine, weapons and stolen valuables from their possession, a police spokesman said on Thursday.
Special police teams of Saddar Zone arrested 29 outlaws during last ten days and recovered 10 kilogram hashish,1.200 kilogram opium, 120 gram heroine, fake foreign currency, six pistols , one 12-bore shotgun and one Kalashnikov along with ammunition from their possession.
Meanwhile, ASI Muhammad Irshad from Secretariat police station on Thursday arrested a bootlegger Yousaf Masih and recovered four wine bottles from him.
Sub-Inspector Mumtaz Habib from Golra police station arrested Saddaqat Ali and recovered fake currency amounting Rs80,000 from him.
ASI Rafi Ullah from Bhara Kau police station arrested a thief Qasir and recovered stolen items from him.
ASI Asif Khan from women police station along with police teams arrested eight persons including six women namely Qaisar, Afsar, Zubaida, Naseebu, Gul Banu, Sonia, Najma and Naseem for their
alleged involvement in various theft cases.
Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them. (APP)
