A$AP Rocky is facing heavy backlash for carrying a customized umbrella with himself at the 2025 Met Gala red carpet.
The 36-year-old rapper carried an umbrella covered in 90 carats ofdiamonds with a handle shaped like a revolver at the star-studded event.
“A revolver handle umbrella after beating a gun case is diabolical,” wrote one of the internet users.
Another user penned that “carrying an umbrella that also looks like a gun ... very meaningful, you either get it or you don’t.”
“Is Asap poking fun at the gun charge?” asked a third one.
The ensemble came less than three months after Rocky was declared innocent in a shooting trial by the court.
For those unversed, the Praise the Lord hitmaker was accused of shooting at his former pal, Terrell Ephron, during an altercation in 2021.
