Karachi police arrest 43 accused in 24 hours

KARACHI: Police on Monday claimed to have arrested 43 accused including, absconders, dacoits, car-lifters, killers, in 51 raids during the last 24 hours across the metropolis.

The police also recovered seven different weapons during these raids. Two accused of murder case were arrested by Mochko police.

They were identified as Khawar Bashir and Nazir Ahmed. Azizabad police arrested an accused of car-snatching gang.

In other actions taken by Karachi police, two culprits were arrested in police encounters while two dacoits and 13 absconders were also apprehended.

Six accused were arrested Arms Act, while 17 others were held in others criminal acts. Meanwhile,four people were also held for violating pillion riding ban.
