Two killed, three injured in collision

FAISALABAD: Two persons were killed and three others injured in a collision between a van and a bus near Bhaiwala on Jhumra Road on Monday.

According to Rescue 1122, a passenger van collided with a bus coming from the opposite side near Bhaiwala. As a result, Zahid of Chak No 263-RB and another man, yet to be identified were killed and three others were injured who were shifted to Allied Hospital.

The injured included Abdul Wahid of Chak No 191-RB, Naqash Mehdi of Gatwala and Muhammad Sadiq of Chak Jhumra.

When contacted, a moharrir at Millat Town police station used rough language and refused to give any information about the incident saying he had no time for it.
