Gold prices fall in local and internal markets

KARACHI: The price of gold has decreased in Pakistan, following a $27 per ounce decrease in the international market.

The price in the local market decreases by Rs 1,000 per tola (11.25 grams). The new per tola price is Rs 46,500.

The precious metal dropped to a three-year low in the international market to near $ 1,200 an ounce, putting it on course for its worst quarterly performance in over half a century.
