LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Punjab has initiated an inquiry against the provinces Education Minister Rana Mashood.

DG NAB Punjab Syed Burhanuddin said there were several allegations of corruption against the minister including the video scandal and youth festival cases.

In August 2014 video of Mashood surfaced in which he was allegedly involved in corrupt activities. He has also been accused of financial irregularities in the Punjab Youth Festival.

NAB had started collecting evidence into the video scandal and decided to launch a formal inquiry after proof pertaining to the case was found.
