6 paramilitary soldiers killed in Peshawar militant attack

PESHAWAR: As many as six paramilitary soldiers were killed and seven others injured when militants stormed a Frontier Constabulary position in Peshawar late Tuesday night, sources said.

The sources said that three soldiers of Khasadar Force, a paramilitary police, were still missing.

Geo News correspondent said that the dead and injured were moved to a nearby hospital while a search operation was underway for the recovery of missing soldiers.

He said that the attack took place in FR Kishan Ganga area of Peshawar around 11:30 pm and 12:00am.Identities of the dead and injured were yet to be known.
