Ruet-e-Hilal Committee to meet for Ramazan moon sighting

KARACHI: The meeting of Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will be held here on Tuesday (today) for sighting of Ramazan crescent in Karachi, Geo News reported.

Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Chairman Mufti Munibur Rehman will preside over the meeting, scheduled at Met Complex, Gulistan-e-Johar. Members of Zonal Committee and astrologists will also participate.

Meanwhile, meetings of district committees will be held in their respective areas.

According to media reports, Ramazan moon has not been sighted in Saudi Arabia and the holy month will start on Wednesday, July 10.
