PM orders inquiry into technical fault in Shahbaz Sharif’s aircraft

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has ordered immediate inquiry into the incident of technical fault in the plane of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif after it took off from Lahore on Friday morning.

According to PM Office spokesman, the Prime Minister thanked the Almighty that all passengers including the Chief Minister and crew members remained safe.

CM Punjab's aircraft escaped an incident on Friday after it took off from Lahore for Islamabad.

Sources said, the aircraft developed a technical fault after take-off and began experiencing severe turbulence.

Geo News reported, at one point the pilot was not sure if he would be able to land the plane safely.

However, the pilot managed to land the plane safely without incident.
