KARACHI: Four prisoners broke away from the vicinity of Karachi courts on Saturday, Geo News reported.
According to initial reports, CID police had brought the two accused to the City Court for hearing of their case where they managed to dodge the security personnel and escaped from the police custody.
Police sources said accused Ishaq and Nazrab unlocked their handcuff and managed to flee.
Meanwhile, two other accused in forgery case, identified as Rehmat and his son Farhan also managed to flee from the district central court. The accused escaped after their bail was rejected by the court.
This is the second time prisoners have escaped from a court in Karachi during the past week. On Thursday, three prisoners escaped from the lock-up of the Anti-Terrorism Court.
